The app will ask the user for PIN & Password. a. If the user belongs to an institute that has subscribed to EduApplet, the PIN and Password will be provided by the Institute Admin. b. If the user belongs to an institute that has NOT subscribed to EduApplet, proceed with pressing [I do not have PIN] button.
After validation of PIN & Password, the app will ask for the mobile number where the user wants to receive the account Verification Code.
Verification Code (VCode) is received in the SMS and entered in the app window. On verification of the VCode, a. If the user belongs to an institute that has subscribed to EduApplet, the app connects the user to the Institute. b. If the user belongs to an institute that has NOT subscribed to EduApplet, the app registers the user as “EduApplet Open Member”.
The features activated by the institute are accessible for the user. Rest of the features give a message of “Service Deactivated”.
Follow the same sequence of installation on the new device as explained above. The only difference is that, the VCode SMS will be received on the old device.
This VCode must be entered onto the new device. This is to validate that the new device belongs to the same old user who was using this account previously.
The app downloads all the relevant information for all the services at following instances, a. When it is launched first time after installation or reinstallation.
When it is launched after closing.
When the respective service screen is pulled down to refresh, then the data of only that service is refreshed.
The PIN and Password sets are purchased by the institute from Addmen as per the Basic Pack Charges given above.
The PIN & Password pair is provide in the form of an Excel file. If required, Scratch cards can be provided @ Rs. 1 for minimum 2000 cards.
The PIN is provided to the student and at the same time entered in his account. More than one PIN can be activated for one user account. This facility is useful when the parents also have to be given access besides students.
More than one PIN can be allotted to a user by entering comma separated PINs in the field.
Tests can be attempted only by the primary PIN user. Rest all active services can be equally accessed.
