Understand the structure of NEET & JEE exams and how Addmen’s exam software aligns with their patterns—supporting both dual-section MCQ formats, “select N out of M” logic, OMR solutions, and online deployment.
Each subject in NEET consists of two sections:
Section I: Fixed number of mandatory questions (e.g. 30–35)
Section II: More questions are provided (e.g. 10–15), but the candidate is required to answer only a subset (e.g. 5 or 10)
All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
This structure provides flexibility, reduces “guessing penalty” risk, and allows exam bodies to offer choice within subjects
Scoring and evaluation consider only the required number of answers in Section II, even if more are attempted

Similar to NEET, JEE (Main) may adopt a dual‑section MCQ structure:
Section I: All questions must be answered
Section II: More options are given; only a subset must be answered
In JEE Advanced, exams may have multiple papers and sections with different rules, including sections requiring candidates to answer a certain number out of a larger set
The exam pattern may include multiple choice, numerical responses, or other formats depending on the exam authority

Q: What is “n out of m” logic?
A: In this logic, candidates are given m questions (say, 15) but must answer only n of them (say, 10). Even if they attempt more, only the first n valid responses are considered.
Q: Can this software handle both NEET and JEE formats?
A: Yes. The software is flexible and configurable to support both NEET and JEE exam structures, including section logic, scoring rules, and security features.
Q: Can I deliver exams online and on OMR?
A: Absolutely. You can choose OMR (pen & paper scanning), purely online mode, or a hybrid mix, based on your facilities and policy requirements.
Q: Is reporting detailed?
A: Yes. You get subject, section, and question-wise analysis, performance trends, downloadable reports, and dashboards.
Q: How secure is the exam delivery?
A: We include features like question randomization, navigation restrictions, proctoring in online mode, and audit logs to maintain exam integrity.
