Introduction to Addmen Integrated Assessment Solution for Scoring the SAT & ACT tests

The SAT / ACT / PSAT Scoring Software from Addmen is built on our Integrated Assessment Suite (IAS). It brings together OMR answer sheet reading, test setup with scaled scoring, and online result publishing to support the unique workflows of SAT, ACT, and PSAT exams.

Institutions in the US and globally use this solution to score multi-sheet exams, generate reports, and show results via online scoreboards.

If you already have Addmen’s OMR Answer Sheet Checker or a combo package, you can upgrade to include the SAT/ACT module and the online result system — paying only the upgrade difference. Your existing product’s functionality remains intact, with the SAT/ACT layer added on top. AddmenGroup

Components of the SAT / ACT / PSAT Scoring System

Here are the modules and functionalities that make up the full solution:

1. Basic OMR Reader (S0)

This is the underlying OMR reading engine (Answer Sheet Checker). If you already own Addmen’s OMR reader or a higher combo, you can reuse it. AddmenGroup

2. Test Setup / Definition via IAS

A limited section of the Integrated Assessment Suite is accessible for SAT / ACT workflows. Use this to define tests, configure scaled scoring, assign tags, and manage test properties.

3. Online Scoreboard & Result Interface

This module allows students to view exam results via a web portal:

Students log in using their unique IDs.
They see their test history in a tabular layout, with links to graphical / sheet / analytical reports.
Administrators also get group comparisons, question‑wise analysis, and aggregated reports via the same interface.

To host this, you need either:

A cloud server, or
A local server installed with IIS + SQL Server (or equivalent) for result processing.

How the SAT / ACT Upgrade Works

The existing OMR reader functionality remains unaffected; the new features are additive.
The SAT / ACT upgrade enables:

Scaled scoring — apply score curves or conversion tables.
Multi-sheet merging — combine multiple sheets (e.g. different test modules) into one consolidated result.
Enhanced reporting & online display — generate reports following SAT / ACT norms, and publish them on the online scoreboard.
